Email Marketing Makes Money

By now you know that we’re big fans of email marketing. If you’re sitting on a database of customer email addresses, meaning you have permission to send these people email, it’s going to be a centerpiece of your plan. Most companies want to do email marketing, but nobody seems to have the time. And even if they did have the time, they don’t know what to write. We got this.

Email marketing gives you the ability to re-engage with existing customers. Is something still in your customer's cart? Send them an email. Have a coupon code to share? Send them an email. Need to make a big push about an event? Send an email. A perfectly curated email is the answer to everything. Emailing your customers/clients gives you the ability to build personal relationships. You’re not posting to your crowd of followers - you have a specific message for that person right in their inbox.

While social media marketing is slick, email still reigns supreme in customer engagement and transaction deliverables, and taking advantage of email marketing can make a huge difference in your project’s reach and success. Everybody still has an email whether they utilize social media or not. That’s a lot of people your marketing could be missing.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
